Please take a moment right now to open your calendar, turn to November 9-11, and make note of our upcoming Parish Mission 2018, with Julian and Chris Russell. The Russells are PCA missionaries in the Bahamas. They will lead us in a study of Acts 11 called "Profile of a Bridge Builder." 

This exciting weekend has two goals: (1) to motivate us as members of Christ Church to build bridges to share the gospel with people of every background, including (and especially) those with different backgrounds than our own; and (2) to introduce ourselves to our community. 

Joe Scott has kindly agreed to head up a team of church volunteers to plan the event, implement it, and then help spread the word about it. We need at least a couple of others to pitch in as well. Let me or Joe know if you are interested. 

During the mission, we’ll have great Bible teaching, awesome fellowship, and real hands-on opportunities to show Christ’s love to others. Everything is free. Hand-outs will be available on Sunday. Digital ads will be coming out this week.
