Pastor & Teaching Elder
A Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America, Bill Lovell is the Pastor and team leader of Christ Church Carrollton. Bill is married to Leslie and has 5 grown kids. Bill attended the University of Mississippi and Virginia Theological Seminary. He moved to Dallas in 1997, after having pastored churches in Vancouver, BC and Boston, MA.
Bill, having been engaged in Christian ministry for over 25 years, is committed to expository preaching, prayer, pastoral care, and exhibits a heart for international mission and local evangelism. Bill is a natural networker, whose relationships and partnerships span the globe.
Bill can regularly be found engaged in the life and activities of Downtown Carrollton. With a commitment to the South Carrollton area, he seeks to lead and guide the Church to bring glory to God to this unique, diverse and rapidly changing environment.
Bill has an eclectic taste in music, is an avid Anglo-phile, and enjoys international travel and long walks.
Dustin and his wife Whitney (a fightin' Texas Aggie!) live in Carrollton with their goldendoodle, Schaeffer. He graduated from Boyce College and Covenant Theological Seminary. Dustin is currently working on his PhD.
A frequent speaker at camps, retreats, and conferences, Dustin's writings have been published by: The Gospel Coalition, Institute for Faith, Work, and Economics, the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, Mere Orthodoxy, and the Theopolis Institute.
Dustin also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Center for Cultural Leadership and teaches theology at Legacy Christian Academy, Frisco, TX.
Children's Sunday School
Heather and her husband David live in Lewisville with their three kids Andrew, Luke and Rebecca. Heather heads up the very important Sunday School ministry for the kids and has a heart for special-needs children, prayer, and teaching.
Josh is married to Samantha and leads Christ Church's Sunday morning worship team.
Mission and Outreach Coordinator
Samantha is married to Josh and serves as Christ Church's International Missions Coordinator. She has a heart for caring for those spending their life sharing the good news of Jesus.
Scott lives in Plano and serves at Christ Church's website admin, assists with the Music Team running sound, and other functions as needed. Scott holds an M. A. from Wheaton Graduate School in Biblical Exegesis, works locally in technology sales, and loves biblical theology.
Sarah lives in Carrollton with her husband, Colin, a current student at Reformed Theological Seminary. Sarah is a professional flutist, performing with various DFW area symphonies, and a music educator. Sarah provides administrative support to the pastors and lay leaders at Christ Church.
Ruling Elder & Treasurer
Rob and his wife Dawna live in Frisco and are the parents of Matthew and Kristin. Rob started his college career at the University of Nebraska and remains a dedicated Husker while later receiving Bachelor and Masters Degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington. He works in the Information Technology services business.
Rob enjoys reading, classical music and Shakespeare, as well as tinkering with mechanical projects, sports, travel and cars. He was greatly influenced as a new Christian by the works of Dr. RC Sproul and Dr. JI Packer. Rob teaches Sunday school, has a particular interest in the work of the Reformed University Fellowship as well as Reformed Theological Seminary – Dallas, and the ministry of 9 Marks.

Rick and his wife Denise, along with their three kids, live in Hickory Creek. Rick heads up our music ministry, plays bass, and is involved in Scouts and baseball. Rick works in the information technology sector and has a heart for worship, music, prayer, and teaching.

Steve and his wife live in Carrollton. Steve recently retired from a career in software development and has started some entrepreneurial pursuits.
Will lives in the Colony and serves as Deacon. Having started his career in Electrical Engineering, he's transitioning to academics since completing his PhD from the University of Texas at Dallas in Economics and Econometrics. Will's intellectual gifts are matched by his humor, compassion, and steady dedication to quietly serving others - especially those in need. Will has a heart for prayer and service, and can always be found helping.
